Pop a Peppermint

Feeling a little low on energy?  Have something with peppermint in it!  This time of year, the task should not be hard as it seems that everything is peppermint flavored.  Studies show peppermint has a way of boosting one’s energy level and making you more mentally alert.  This is a good excuse to indulge in a (small) candy cane every once in a while.  You could also have some peppermint tea or try a homemade peppermint mocha.  Consider having some peppermint before your workout or just when you are feeling like you need a little kick in the pants.  Remember, the more you move throughout the day, the healthier you’ll be!
