There are times when we just don’t feel like getting off our butts to exercise. At least I don’t think I am alone, right? Most of the time when I feel like this, I don’t feel like I have the energy for “a workout”. However, the neat thing about our bodies is that moving/exercising can actually give us energy. When I just don’t feel like doing anything, I tell myself to just do a little. If I tell myself that I can handle going for a 5-10 minute walk, usually that will lead to a 20-30 minute walk. If I don’t feel like running on the treadmill, I tell myself to just do a couple intervals–which often leads to a great workout because as I get moving my body is becoming energized.
My tip for you: a little bit of exercise is always going to be better than none. When you are in a funk, just do your best to get off your butt and move a little.
