7 "healthy" things to stop doing

  1. Chewing gum loaded with artificial sugar.
  2. Drinking diet soda (drink Zevia if you must).
  3. Putting Splenda in your coffee.
  4. Falling for words on packages that say “light”, “low-fat”, “sugar-free”, “all natural”, or “organic”.
  5. Using anti-bacterial soap/hand sanitizer multiple times a day.
  6. Obsessing about calories.
  7. Losing weight fast.
Ok I am ready for it.  I know this short list has left some of you upset, perplexed, and _______.  It’s time for you to fill in the blank and let me know your thoughts.  I will probably expand on my reasoning behind some of these things in another post, but for now would like to hear what you have to say.

Number 4 is my only “Then what shall I do?!?!” one. My guess would be to grow/farm my own things but I don't have the patience, time, land, or anything to do that so it just comes down to me knowing what to really look for when buying the healthful foods; which I have no idea what I'm doing since I'll admit to being one of those who falls for the marketing schemes of “organic” and all other pleasant words. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

This list makes perfect sense to me. I couldn't agree more! 🙂

i will describe this more in another post, but the first 4 terms are the ones to be more wary of. we need to get over our fear of fat and calories. the term organic is fine, but not everything needs to be organic and just because its organic doesn't give one a license to overeat. stay tuned for more on this!
